The Trait Swap is a unique element of utility created to enable BVDCAT holders flexibility to customise and evolve their NFTs.

The development team is creating a model which will allow users to add and replace attributes on their NFT, giving power to the holder to create their dream BVDCAT! The model will allow holders to create new designs, new aesthetics or combine the rarest attributes to increase the ranking of your BVDCAT - The choice is yours! The team is building a 'build and swap' method, where holders will be able to acquire new attributes such as 'Lazy Eyes' and swap this attribute with the attribute that currently exists on your NFT. The 'Lazy Eyes' will be a separate NFT that represents the eye slot, and you'll be able to swap the Lazy Eyes with the eyes currently on your BVDCAT. The end result is that you'll have new eyes on your BVDCAT NFT, and an eye slot NFT that contains the characteristic that was swapped.

The Trait Swapper will cost $REP which will be earnt by Staking, and users can swap as many traits as they'd like, as many times as they like! To swap your traits, simply head to the Trait Swapper app which will be launched post mint and choose both your BVDCAT and the attribute you wish to apply. Once payment is made, your original BVDCAT NFT will be updated within 15 minutes!

Collaborative pieces:

To create endless demand for BVDCAT NFTs - The team will be integrating collaborative pieces into the Trait Swap model to enable other NFT Projects to submit attributes which can be combined with BVDCAT's. Collaborative projects would be able to create unique and easily identifiable characteristics which will be converted into an NFT and can be merged with the BVDCAT NFT. To promote this model, BVDCATs with collaborative NFTs will have a dynamic royalties wallet list enabling partnering projects to earn a portion of the secondary resale commission when a BVDCAT with their attribute(s) are sold! This will create a monetary benefit for partners, and encourage 10's or even 100's of projects to partner with BVDCAT increasing the audience, demand and floor price for these NFTs.
